The Gardens of Marqueyssac (Les Jardins de Marqueyssac)

Marqueyssac is one of the most beautiful romantic gardens of France and today the most  visited garden in Périgord. Listed as a national historical monument thanks to its 54 acre  park, Marqueyssac’s gardens offer more than 6 kilometers of shaded paths in a maze of 150,000 hand pruned boxwood. Visit website.


Les Jardins du Manoir d’Eyrignac

Eyrignac has belonged to the same family for 500 years (22 generations).  The gardens of Eyrignac Manor are the most beautiful gardens of the Périgord region, containing one of the finest examples of the Art of Topiary with a unique collection of more than 300 green sculptures and 50,000 plants of yew, box and hornbeam.
